What to do if you have an extreme personality

An extreme personality disorder is a personality disorder. Among us, there are some people who belong to this type. Because they are too obsessed with their own ideas, they rarely listen to the opinions of others easily. People with severe paranoia are often somewhat neurotic. Not only will they be very conflicted, but they will also make people around them feel depressed and confused. People with extreme personalities should work hard to change their paranoid attitude towards things so that they can return to normal life.

1. Significant characteristics of extreme personality

1. Emotional impulsivity

Such people often fail to face up to their own shortcomings and think that their ideas are the best. If someone puts forward their ideas, they will argue without mercy and are easily emotionally agitated and excited.

2. One-sided understanding

People with this kind of personality do not look at the development process of things with a comprehensive mindset, and often judge the good or bad of things with one-sided and monotonous emotions. He is also selective in the way he treats people. When making friends, he will impose his own ideas on others and will not care about the ideas of those around him.

3. Rude behavior

They act without thinking, do not consider the consequences, and stick to their own opinions. This is often a manifestation of loyalty. They are willing to risk their lives for their brothers. Rudeness and recklessness are one of their characteristics.

2. Extreme Self-Regulation

1. Be aware of the dangers of extremism

They need to be constrained by certain environments to gradually realize their mistakes; and as the probability of mistakes increases, family members or colleagues should explain to them the dangers of extremism, making them understand that extremism will not only make family affection cold and relationships distant, but also make them unable to get understanding, support and sympathy from others, thus putting themselves in an isolated situation. At the same time, it often makes them fall into angry emotions, affecting their physical health.

2. Learn the thinking method, objectively analyze and understand things, and overcome subjective bias

When it comes to non-principle issues, we should treat them with an easy-going and tolerant attitude. We don't have to be too serious about everything. If we treat them with benevolence and righteousness, we can coordinate interpersonal relationships. As long as we are tolerant and give in to each other, we can turn hostility into friendship, eliminate barriers and enhance feelings.

3. We should constantly exercise self-control and self-guidance to control the occurrence of negative emotions.

When other people's opinions differ from yours, you should suppress your emotions and do not argue or dispute with them. Instead, you should take an evasive approach, leave the scene, and let the excited emotions calm down on their own. When chatting or researching with friends or colleagues, once you encounter a difference of opinion, remind yourself to be humble and patient, and don't force yourself to argue. Even if you have to express your opinions, you must remain calm and steady, strive to be objective, convince others with reason, and do not look down on others.
