How to effectively treat frostbite on feet

It is relatively easy to get frostbite on the feet in winter. You just need to pay attention to the correct coping methods. You can soak the affected area in salt water or use an analgesic ointment to apply it to the red and swollen areas of the frostbite skin. The effects are very good.

1. Soak the affected area in hot salt water for 15 minutes for 1 week.

2. When frostbite just starts to appear, use a hair dryer to blow and rub the affected area every night, and it will be gone after a few days.

3. Use the analgesic plaster to locally treat first-degree frostbite with skin redness, swelling, heat, itching or burning pain, and achieve good results. The method is to first wash the affected area with warm water, then apply the ointment tightly to the affected skin after drying it. It will usually heal in 24 hours. If it does not heal, you can change the ointment several times. It is not suitable for application on broken or allergic skin.

4. Apply "Ten Drops of Water" to the frostbite area 6 to 10 times a day. It is more effective for those who have not ulcerated the frostbite. If the local skin is ulcerated and eroded, apply erythromycin ointment first, and then use Ten Drops of Water after the inflammation subsides.

5. There are many ways to treat frostbite, but they often take a long time and are slow to take effect. Yunnan Baiyao is very effective in treating it. The method is: for those with frostbite that has not broken, mix Yunnan Baiyao powder with white wine into a paste and apply it externally, and pay attention to keeping it warm. For those with frostbite that has broken, wash the affected area, sprinkle Yunnan Baiyao powder directly on the wound, and bandage it with sterilized gauze. It will heal within a few days.

6. When eating cucumbers in summer and autumn, use the cucumber stems to repeatedly rub the areas where frostbite often occurs. As long as you persist in doing this regularly, it is guaranteed that it will not recur.

7. When frostbite first occurs, apply hot vinegar. After the vinegar dries, apply it again, several times a day, and you will see the effect.

8. In winter, take an appropriate amount of pepper stalks and eggplant stalks from the fields and boil them in water to wash them.
