Where is the lower part of the body

The lower abdomen is a term used in traditional Chinese medicine, and specifically refers to the area below the navel in the human abdomen. It plays a very important role in the human body, for example, it is used to excrete urine and useless products of metabolism, etc. The lower abdomen is also a part of the body that is more prone to diseases. Damp-heat in the lower abdomen is a very common one. People need to pay special attention to this situation. In daily life, many people do not know where the lower jiao is. Here is an introduction to where the lower jiao is.

The lower abdomen refers to the abdomen below the navel, including the small intestine, large intestine, kidneys, and bladder. The main function of the lower abdomen is to excrete waste and urine.

Damp-heat in the lower burner is a condition that is relatively common in the human body. It refers to damp-heat invading the lower burner, large intestine or bladder, with common clinical manifestations such as dribbling and burning urination or urinary retention, fishy and loose stools or constipation, lower abdominal distension and pain, or yellowish, white and fishy vaginal discharge, fever and thirst, heaviness and fatigue, red tongue with yellow and greasy coating, and a weak and rapid or slippery pulse. Clinically, it is often seen in symptoms such as damp-heat dysentery, damp-heat diarrhea, stranguria, urinary retention, vaginal itching, leucorrhea, swelling and pain in the joints of the lower limbs, and damp athlete's foot infection. The main treatment method is to clear away heat and dampness.

Causes

1. Damp-heat in the large intestine

It is mostly caused by improper diet, excessive consumption of rich food and strong wine, or invasion of the intestines by summer heat, dampness, epidemic toxins. It is a symptom of evil and the disease is located in the large intestine. Because damp-heat toxic evil accumulates in the large intestine, the Qi in the lower part of the body is stagnant, the conduction is abnormal, and Qi and blood are stagnant. When the stagnant heat blocks the intestines, it can cause visceral Qi obstruction and heat to flow sideways, resulting in vomiting, abdominal pain, dysentery, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, etc.

2. Bladder dampness and heat

It is often caused by eating too much fatty, sweet, spicy and hot food, or being addicted to alcohol, which leads to endogenous dampness and heat, or external invasion of dampness, heat and turbid evil, which deposits dampness and heat in the bladder, impaired bladder qi transformation, inability to distinguish clear from turbid, resulting in dysfunction of opening and closing and burns to the collaterals.

3. Dampness and heat in the uterus

It is mostly caused by the invasion of damp-heat evil toxins into the pelvic cavity, causing stagnation of qi and blood. The main cause of this disease is that the evil toxins invade the cell vessels and combine with septic blood, leading to further development. Due to the strong evil qi, internal accumulation of blood stasis and heat, and the fierce struggle between the righteous and evil, severe abdominal pain occurs, accompanied by high fever and chills.

Preventive Care

1. Daily health care

Damp-heat in the lower abdomen is a type of damp-heat syndrome, and daily health care is the same as that for damp-heat syndrome. Damp-heat syndrome exists because heat often attaches to dampness, so attention should be paid to improving the living environment and regulating the diet. It is not advisable to overeat, drink less alcohol (the nature of dampness and heat is the greatest), and not drink excessively. The diet should be light, and eat less fatty, greasy foods, sweets, and spicy foods. This is to maintain good digestive function and avoid internal retention of dampness or entry of dampness from the outside. This is the key to preventing damp-heat. Especially quit smoking and drinking. Eat more foods that can remove dampness, such as mung beans, winter melon, loofah, red beans, watermelon, green tea, scented tea, lentils, coix seeds, etc.

2. Diet therapy

(1) Stewed pigeon: pigeon, yam, poria, wolfberry, longan, lotus seeds, red dates, and coix seed. Simmer over low heat for 3 hours. Efficacy: Nourishes the heart, strengthens the spleen, tonifies the kidneys, replenishes qi, and removes dampness.

(2) Pot with Poria cocos and snake larvae: Poria cocos, water snake larvae, two red dates, and one slice of ginger. Method: Cut the water snake into sections, wash it, blanch it (boil it in hot water for a while) and set aside. Then peel and slice the wild yam. Then put the red dates, ginger slices, water snake segments and wild yam slices into the stewing pot, stew over high heat for 3 hours, and add salt to taste when drinking.
