How to recover from muscle strain

We need to use muscles every day. Muscle strain is a common phenomenon, which is generally caused by exercise. Excessive exercise or failure to warm up before exercise can easily cause muscle strain. Muscle strain will have a certain impact on our movements. Not only will it be very painful, but it will also be harmful if not treated and cared for in time. It is harmful to the body.

1. Cold compress treatment

It is recommended that patients should apply cold compress treatment as soon as possible within 48 hours after a muscle strain occurs. It is recommended to use frozen items such as ice cubes for more than 30 minutes, and remember to rinse with cold water. The purpose is to slow down the blood circulation in the injured area and reduce bleeding inside the muscle, which will greatly reduce the subsequent swelling.

2. Take anti-inflammatory drugs

At the same time, you can also take some anti-inflammatory drugs such as Panax notoginseng orally, which can promote wound healing. At the same time, you can also use safflower oil, massage, acupuncture, etc. in moderation to speed up blood circulation in the injured area and provide adequate nutrition. It can promote recovery from illness.

3. Exercise Recovery

Once the patient feels that the affected area is no longer painful, he or she can perform exercises such as slow walking, then stretch moderately, gradually increase the range of motion, and perform orderly exercise recovery. The purpose is to keep the injured muscle groups active and, on this basis, speed up the metabolic process and improve the recovery effect.
