What causes bone hyperplasia

What causes bone hyperplasia

Nowadays, many elderly people are suffering from many physical illnesses, such as cerebral hemorrhage, high blood pressure, diabetes and so on. Therefore, the most common group of people in major hospitals are the elderly. If we were to ask what disease would make the elderly feel most uncomfortable, it would probably be bone hyperplasia. This disease becomes more serious as the elderly age, and some elderly people cannot walk due to this disease.

There are ways to prevent this disease. Just avoid strenuous exercise and be careful not to fall. Falling can easily induce bone hyperplasia. It is not enough to just know the prevention methods. You also need to understand what causes it so that you can avoid bone hyperplasia more effectively.

1. Primary osteoarthritis is caused by aging and long-term fatigue, which leads to degenerative changes in bones and joints, ligament relaxation, decreased muscle strength, affected joint stability, and the formation of bone spurs around the joints, thus causing arthritis.

(1) Most patients with this disease are middle-aged and elderly people over 40 years old, accompanied by symptoms such as stiff waist pain or numbness of the lower limbs. Physical examination shows that some patients have abnormal lumbar curvature and tenderness in the muscles on both sides of the lumbar spine.

2. Secondary osteoarthritis is mostly caused by joint trauma, developmental deformity, etc., which lead to uneven joint surfaces and uneven force. Osteophyte belongs to the category of "arthralgia" in traditional Chinese medicine, also known as "bone arthralgia". Traditional Chinese medicine believes that this disease is related to trauma, strain, blood stasis, wind, cold and dampness, internal obstruction of phlegm and dampness, liver and kidney deficiency, etc.

(1) Changes in lumbar spine X-rays (anteroposterior, lateral, and left and right oblique views), such as abnormal lumbar curvature, lumbar scoliosis, narrowing of the lumbar intervertebral space, hyperplasia of the lumbar vertebral bodies and facet joints, lumbar spondylolisthesis, and intervertebral foraminal stenosis.

(2) The various symptoms caused by lumbar spondylosis should be differentiated from a variety of lumbar diseases, such as lumbar disc herniation, vertebral deformity, vertebral tumors, lumbar tuberculosis, etc.

Bone hyperplasia can be cured, and the elderly suffering from this disease should not be too discouraged. They can eat more bone soup using food therapy, take some medicine and use mechanical treatments using Western medicine, and apply some healing plasters using Chinese medicine. These methods are all feasible, and the elderly must persist every day for their own health.
