1. Wash the coix seeds and mung beans, soak them in clean water for 3 to 5 hours and set aside. My experience is to soak the coix seed and mung beans together before going to bed at night, and then put them in the rice cooker and cook porridge directly after getting up in the morning. 3. Cover the pot, turn on the rice cooker, and cook for about 10 minutes. At this time, set the rice cooker to keep warm mode. You can stir the bottom of the pot with a spoon to see if the coix seed and mung bean are cooked through. If the rice is cooked soft and mushy, turn off the rice cooker. 4. Add appropriate amount of sugar and stir evenly to season. The barley porridge is ready.

2. The normal color is white with a slight yellow tint, the grooves are dark brown, the grains are full and not easily broken by hand. Go into water and sink to the bottom. Soak in warm water for 5-6 hours before cooking, simmer for half an hour until it is soft and the soup will be like light rice soup. As long as it is kept dry it will not get moldy. It is best not to eat moldy food.
