Clinically, malignant lymphoma is often misdiagnosed. For example, 70% to 80% of patients with superficial lymphadenopathy as the first symptom are diagnosed as lymphadenitis or lymphadenopathy at the time of initial diagnosis, which leads to delayed treatment. Diseases that are easily confused include: ① Chronic lymphadenitis. There are usually obvious infection foci, and the lymph nodes are often focally enlarged, painful and tender, usually not exceeding 2 to 3 cm, and can be reduced after anti-infection treatment. ② Giant lymph node hyperplasia: It is a kind of lymph node enlargement with unknown cause, which mainly invades the chest cavity, most commonly in the mediastinum, and can also invade the hilum of the lung and the tissues inside the lung. ③ Pseudo-lymphoma: It often occurs outside the lymph nodes, such as pseudo-lymphoma of the eye socket and stomach. ④ Tuberculous lymphadenitis: It is sometimes difficult to differentiate from malignant lymphoma, and typical patients often have pulmonary tuberculosis. ⑤ Lymph node metastasis: The lymph nodes are often hard and uneven in texture, and the primary lesion can be found. Systemic lymph node enlargement is rare. |
