Is there any relationship between heavy menstrual flow and uterine cancer?

Menstruation is the most basic indicator of a woman's health. Excessive menstrual flow is a sign of irregular menstruation, and irregular menstruation is the most direct manifestation of various gynecological diseases. Uterine cancer is one of the common gynecological diseases. Many female friends go to the hospital for examination because of heavy menstrual flow, and finally they are diagnosed with uterine cancer. So is there a relationship between heavy menstrual flow and uterine cancer?

Patients with uterine cancer often suffer from hemorrhagic anemia due to increased menstrual volume or prolonged bleeding. If uterine cancer compresses nerves and stimulates uterine contraction, it is also easy to be combined with endometriosis, so most people will experience dysmenorrhea. Uterine cancer causes pelvic congestion and infection, and increased vaginal discharge, that is, excessive leucorrhea, sometimes pus-like and with a fishy smell.
There are only two types of uterine cancer that cause menorrhagia: myenteric and submucosal. Endometrial polyps are actually a chronic inflammatory lesion. In recent years, the incidence of cervical cancer has been increasing, and there is a trend of gradually younger people. The initial symptom of cervical cancer is bleeding after sexual intercourse, which is particularly prominent before and after menstruation, and sometimes may even cause fatal heavy bleeding.
Uterine cancer is a tumor caused by the proliferation of uterine wall muscle and fibrous tissue, and most of them are benign. It is common in middle-aged women aged 30 to 55. Uterine cancer is called "sarcoma" after malignant transformation, but it is relatively rare. Generally speaking, those that grow into the uterine cavity are called submucosal fibroids, and those that grow in the muscle wall are called intermural fibroids. Both types of fibroids can cause increased menstrual volume, prolonged menstruation, and continuous bleeding. Larger fibroids often compress surrounding organs.
