"Getting angry" in late autumn, be careful of small intestine excretion of turbidity

It is cold in late autumn, and many middle-aged and elderly people experience symptoms of getting angry, such as dry eyes, dry mouth, oral ulcers, irritability, and insomnia. However, taking heat-clearing and fire-purging drugs is still ineffective, and the symptoms may even worsen. In fact, this is not really caused by fire, but by the turbid evil in the small intestine attacking the meridians.

The generation of turbid evil in the small intestine is related to people's preference for eating hot food when it is cold. Frequent consumption of hot food can easily damage yin and fluid, affecting the small intestine's function of separating clear from turbid substances. Especially for the elderly, gastrointestinal motility is weakened, food is digested slowly and stays in the intestines for a long time, which easily produces more waste.

Too much turbid evil in the small intestine will generally cause symptoms such as dry mouth, bad breath, constipation, or frequent hiccups, acid reflux, abdominal distension, and diarrhea, which should be taken seriously by middle-aged and elderly friends.

Elderly people can use the following methods to clear the small intestine:

1. Stand up, inhale and think silently about the word "quiet", exhale and think silently about the word "relax", then relax from the head, shoulders, arms, chest, back, abdomen, waist, buttocks, legs, and feet in turn.

2. Spread your legs slightly, hold your abdomen with both hands, lick your upper palate, and breathe in through your nose; when exhaling, press your abdomen with both hands, and let the turbid air in your small intestine be expelled from your mouth and nose. Breathe 18 times.

3. Mark on the spot, take a deep breath, exhale slowly, and at the same time use both palms to tap along the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine one at a time. Repeat 18 times. Generally, after 2 weeks, you will feel gas moving in your intestines, which means that the turbid gas is gradually disappearing and your blood sugar is showing a downward trend.
