How do fibroids form

Many of our friends are patients with fibroids, but many people still don’t know much about this disease, so we must learn more about this disease. So how does fibroids occur? The experts in this article will help us introduce it in detail, and we hope that our friends can do a good job of prevention.

Fibroids are a relatively common benign tumor of well-differentiated fibrous connective tissue. They are more common in young people, solitary, mostly millimeters to several centimeters, and painless. They are often found accidentally, are hard, have clear boundaries, are movable, and grow slowly. They can occur in subcutaneous tissues of all parts of the body. For example, tumors that grow in the breasts of young women and are mainly glandular are called fibroadenomas, and tumors that grow in muscles with muscle tissue are called fibromyomas. When they appear multiple times, they are called tumor-like lesions, which are called fibromatosis.

So what causes fibroids?

1. It is a relatively common benign tumor of well-differentiated fibrous connective tissue. It is more common in young people, solitary, mostly millimeters to several centimeters, and painless. It is often found accidentally, hard, with clear boundaries, movable, and slow growth. It can occur in subcutaneous tissues of all parts of the body. For example, tumors that grow in the breasts of young women and are mainly glandular are called fibroadenomas, and tumors that grow in muscles with muscle tissue are called fibromyomas. When multiple tumors occur, they are called tumor-like lesions, which are called fibromatosis.

Second, such as congenital systemic fibromatosis, which is "benign" in appearance, new lesions appearing in important organs can also lead to death. If they grow in the compressed part of the sacrum, they will grow rapidly, erode, ulcerate, bleed and become malignant. Desmoid fibroma (ligament-like tumor) growing in the rectus abdominis of the abdominal wall, neck, trunk and limbs is more common in women. If it is not radically removed, it is very likely to recur, but it does not metastasize, so it is called a borderline tumor.

The above content is what experts introduced to us about the specific causes of fibroids. I hope patients can understand it. After people find the symptoms of fibroids, they must take timely measures to treat it and prevent it from worsening. Only after we understand the factors that cause the disease can we treat it according to our own situation.
