What are the early symptoms of bile duct cancer? Four major symptoms of early bile duct cancer

The continuous emergence of cancer has caused great panic in everyone's hearts. In China, there are many patients suffering from hepatobiliary cancer, and these two types of cancer are very serious. There are many treatment methods now, and targeted treatment can be achieved according to the different conditions. Therefore, everyone should understand its symptoms in time to prevent hepatobiliary cancer.

Patients with bile duct cancer are usually diagnosed only after they develop jaundice, which is an early symptom of bile duct cancer. About 90% of bile duct cancers are diagnosed because of jaundice. When jaundice occurs, the sclera, palms, oral mucosa and skin turn yellow. This is because the bile discharged from the liver is retained in the liver and then refluxes into the blood due to cancer blocking the bile duct. Let's take a look at the four major early symptoms of bile duct cancer.

Symptoms of Gallbladder Cancer

1. Jaundice: Patients with bile duct cancer lack typical symptoms in the early stage. Most patients seek medical treatment due to jaundice. Jaundice is the earliest and most important symptom of bile duct cancer. About 90%-98% of bile duct cancer patients have varying degrees of yellowing of the skin and sclera. The characteristic of jaundice is that it is progressive and deepens, and is mostly painless. In a few patients, jaundice fluctuates. Jaundice appears earlier in upper bile duct cancer, while jaundice in middle and lower bile duct cancer may appear later due to the buffering of the gallbladder.

2. Abdominal pain: About half of the patients have symptoms such as right upper abdominal pain, distension or discomfort, weight loss, and loss of appetite, which are often regarded as early warning symptoms of bile duct cancer. At the beginning of abdominal pain, it is similar to cholelithiasis and cholecystitis. According to clinical observations, abdominal pain and jaundice can occur only 3 months after the onset of bile duct cancer.

3. Skin itching: It may occur before or after the onset of jaundice, and may be accompanied by other symptoms such as tachycardia, bleeding tendency, mental depression, fatigue, steatorrhea, abdominal distension, etc. Skin itching is caused by increased bilirubin content in the blood, which stimulates the peripheral nerves of the skin.

4. Others: Along with jaundice, abdominal pain and other symptoms, there may also be nausea, vomiting, weight loss, dark yellow urine, such as soy sauce or strong tea, light yellow or even clay-colored stools, etc. When the tumor ruptures in the late stage, bile duct bleeding may occur, with black stools and positive fecal occult blood tests, and even anemia may occur. When there is liver metastasis, symptoms such as liver enlargement and cirrhosis may occur.

Symptoms of Liver Cancer

1. Some patients with cirrhosis or hepatitis have basically stable conditions and do not have symptoms of chills or fever, but they may suddenly experience pain or severe pain in the liver area. This is generally an early symptom of liver cancer and patients should pay attention to it.

2. What are the common symptoms of liver cancer? Patients can feel a mass in the right upper abdomen or upper abdomen. When touched, these parts will feel hard and uneven, and there is a clear tendency to increase, but the patient does not feel any discomfort. Patients with this disease will have symptoms of dry mouth, irritability, easy insomnia, and gum and nasal bleeding. Patients may feel abdominal distension and discomfort in the liver area.

3. Patients may experience abdominal distension, repeated diarrhea, indigestion and other symptoms, which are often treated as gastroenteritis but the effect is not significant or cannot be cured. Patients often have dull pain in the liver area and their bodies gradually become thinner.

4. Joint pain is also a common symptom of this disease, especially in the patient's waist and back. The patient may have irritability and anorexia. Feeling discomfort in the liver area, as an anti-rheumatic treatment, but the effect is not good. These symptoms are generally common symptoms of male liver cancer patients.
