Pay more attention to keeping warm, drink more water, and pay attention to rest. If you have time, you must exercise more. You can relieve pain through acupuncture or massage of traditional Chinese medicine. If you want to cure muscle pain, you must go to the hospital to find out the cause and treat it symptomatically.

What to do if you have neck pain

1. Correct sitting posture

Develop a correct sitting posture from now on. Although it may be a little uncomfortable when you first correct it, you should still make the change in order to completely relax your shoulders. At the same time, it is recommended that as a white-collar worker, you should not work so hard sometimes. You should get up and walk around from time to time to exercise your neck and shoulders.

2. Active Neck

Regardless of whether you have neck pain or not, you should intentionally twist your neck several times after working for 1 to 2 hours. Be gentle and slow in your movements, and try to move your neck as far as possible in all directions. This way, your joints can be fully relaxed.

3. Look up and far

Looking up and looking into the distance is also one of the best ways to reduce pain at the moment. When looking up and looking into the distance, you can only look at the distant scenery at the same time. This will not only help eliminate fatigue and cervical pain, but also help protect eyesight.

4. Change your sleeping position

At this time, you must not believe in any nonsense about sleeping soundly. Of course, it does not mean that the lower the pillow, the better. Instead, you should try to choose a pillow with a slight concave in the center so that your neck can get sufficient contact. Remember not to leave it hanging in the air, otherwise you will get a stiff neck. Put away your cell phone, magazines, etc. before going to bed.

Big neck is a more common name, also known as "thick neck". Medically known as "goiter", it is a type of thyroid disease, and its clinical manifestation is a swollen neck.

There are many types of thyroid diseases that can cause big neck symptoms: hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, and thyroid tumors can all cause big neck symptoms.

But what we often call goiter is endemic goiter, also commonly known as "thick neck disease". It is mostly caused by iodine deficiency.

Ignoring the disease can cause serious harm

1. Goiter can be caused by thyroiditis, hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto's thyroid and other diseases

The onset of thyroid tumors is very insidious, and patients may not have any symptoms in the early and middle stages of the disease.

2. After the patient develops goiter, he may experience discomfort and stuffiness in the front of the neck

Subsequently, the lower part of the anterior neck may be found to be enlarged and bulging, or a tumor may be palpated.

If not treated promptly, the disease will further progress and compress the trachea and surrounding tissues. The patient may experience shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, hoarseness, difficulty swallowing and dysphagia.

Thyroid tumors have an insidious onset, the site of the lesion is relatively constant, often located in the lower part of the anterior neck, and develop gradually.

3. Goiter can be cured through traditional Chinese medicine treatment in the early and middle stages of the disease.

If allowed to develop, it may compress adjacent organs or form a retrosternal goiter, and a small number of cases may turn into thyroid cancer.

This makes treatment more difficult, makes surgical complications more likely, and increases treatment costs.

Cancer directly threatens life safety, so early detection, diagnosis and treatment are very necessary. We must not sit idly by and delay the treatment just because there are no symptoms.
