Symptoms of advanced prostate cancer

Symptoms of advanced prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is a common malignant tumor of the male reproductive system. Knowing the symptoms of each stage will help to diagnose and treat the disease in a targeted manner. Let's take a look at the symptoms of late-stage prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is the most likely malignant tumor to metastasize to the bone, with more than 80% of prostate cancer patients experiencing bone metastasis. Early prostate cancer lesions are often asymptomatic, with obstructive symptoms appearing in the later stages, and then both distant metastasis symptoms and obstructive symptoms. So what are the symptoms of prostate cancer patients before they die?

First, pain symptoms. Pain in the waist, sacrum, buttocks, hips, pelvis, and sciatica are common symptoms of late-stage prostate cancer, which are severe and unbearable. It may be caused by cancer metastasis to the bones or invasion of nerves or hydronephrosis and kidney infection. About 31% of patients experience pain.

Second, obstructive symptoms. 80% of patients experience progressive dysuria, thinning or deviated urine flow, bifurcated urine flow, prolonged urination, frequent urination, urgency, pain, and a feeling of incomplete urination, etc., caused by cancer. In severe cases, urine dripping and urine retention occur. Only 3% of patients have hematuria.

Third, the symptoms of prostate cancer metastasis. Metastasis is very common in prostate cancer patients. About 1/3 or even 2/3 of patients have lymph node metastasis when they first see a doctor, mostly in the iliac, iliac, waist, groin and other parts. It can cause lymph node enlargement and lower limb swelling in the corresponding parts. Hematogenous metastasis is more common in bones (such as pelvis, sacrum, lumbar vertebrae, upper femur, etc.) and internal organs (such as lungs, liver, brain, adrenal glands, testicles, etc.).

Warm reminder: Various pains have already appeared in the late stage of prostate cancer, so you should pay more attention to pain control during treatment. Only when your body is in a normal state can you rest assured for treatment.
