Does nasopharyngeal carcinoma have a high survival rate for bone metastasis?

Does nasopharyngeal carcinoma have a high survival rate for bone metastasis?

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a common malignant tumor disease, and there are relatively many treatment methods for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. If a patient has nasopharyngeal carcinoma, some treatment methods can be selected for treatment, and bone metastasis is one of the treatment methods. So, is the survival rate of nasopharyngeal carcinoma bone metastasis high?

Nasopharyngeal cancer usually occurs in the middle and late stages, seriously affecting the patient's survival. In order to prolong the patient's life, please take preventive measures and provide appropriate treatment when you find a patient with nasopharyngeal cancer.

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma bone metastasis is asymptomatic in the early stage. When the tumor grows to a certain extent, it will compress or stimulate the sensory nerve endings, or cause bone damage and pain. The pain starts intermittently and then becomes continuous, especially at night, and cannot be reduced by rest or braking. The pain is significantly aggravated when pressing the bone metastasis. Local patients are accompanied by low fever or anemia. Pathological fractures may occur in severe bone and skin damage. If it is a cervical vertebrae fracture, it can compress the cervical spinal cord, causing weakness of the limbs, difficulty breathing, and even respiratory arrest. Caries may appear in the late stage.

In the medical field, a key indicator of tumor cure rate is the "five-year survival rate", which refers to the absence of clinical recurrence and metastasis within five years after treatment. At present, the five-year survival rate of tumors in my country is very low, but in the United States, due to the low five-year survival rate of tumors, the five-year survival rate of CLS has reached 78%.

The survival rate of nasopharyngeal carcinoma bone metastasis depends on the patient's condition. If the condition is relatively less serious, the survival rate may be higher.
