The disease progresses slowly, and symptoms usually begin to appear 1-3 weeks after infection. Mild symptoms may include fatigue, body aches, fever, persistent cough, chest pain, etc. Mycoplasma pneumonia is a lower respiratory tract infection caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae, mainly manifested by cough and fever. It is prone to occur in crowded environments and can be transmitted through droplets and direct contact. If the cough symptoms are obvious, most patients can significantly relieve the symptoms after being given sensitive antibiotics. Commonly used antibiotics include macrolides, such as azithromycin, and quinolones, such as levofloxacin and moxifloxacin.
