5 ways to test whether your body is healthy

5 ways to test whether your body is healthy

Is there something wrong with your health? Try the following method to test it:

1. Bowing vs. Heart

Before the test, sit quietly for 5 minutes and measure the pulse rate A per minute; then stand upright, bend the upper body slightly forward, and then return to the original position, which is actually a bowing posture. Do it 20 times in a row (at a moderate frequency) and continue to measure the pulse rate B; rest for 1 minute, and then measure the pulse rate C. Add the three pulse counts, subtract 200, and divide by 10. If the result is between 0 and 3, it means the heart is strong; between 3 and 6, it means the heart is in good condition; between 6 and 9, it is average; between 9 and 12, I'm afraid you need to pay attention to heart problems; if it is above 12, you should see a doctor as soon as possible.

2. Standing on one leg vs. human aging

The subject lets his hands hang naturally, close to the sides of his thighs, closes his eyes, stands on one foot, and another person watches the stopwatch. The degree of aging can be judged based on the time it can remain independent and stable on one foot without moving. The measurement standards are: 9.9 seconds for men aged 30-39; 8.4 seconds for men aged 40-49; 7.4 seconds for men aged 50-59; and 5.8 seconds for men aged 60-69. Females age 10 years later than males. The longer you stand, the slower you age. If you do not meet the standards, your biological age is already higher than your actual age.

3. Breath holding vs. lungs

Although we rely on lungs to breathe all the time, nothing has made people more aware of the importance of lungs than when SARS struck. A breath-holding test can tell you whether your lungs are healthy. When swimming or taking a bath, take a deep breath, then bury your head in the water, hold your breath, and exhale slowly. See how long you can hold it. Of course, the longer the better. If it can last for more than 30 seconds, it means your lungs are healthy; if it can reach 1 minute, your lungs are very strong.

4. Stair climbing vs. physical strength

Taking 5 floors as the limit, a person around 30 years old can climb 5 floors quickly by taking two steps at a time and still feel relaxed, which means he is in good health; a person around 50 years old should be able to climb 5 floors one step at a time without resting or using handrails, and without obvious breathlessness, which means he is in good health. No matter what age you are, if you are out of breath and have a rapid heartbeat, it means that you have poor physical strength; if you feel tired and out of breath after climbing to the third floor, it means that you are physically weak and should exercise more.

5. Waist-to-hip ratio vs obesity

Women are most afraid of gaining weight as they age, so they clamor for "losing weight" every day, not knowing that the most fatal thing is not obesity, but the cardiovascular diseases that come with it. The World Health Organization uses waist-to-hip ratio to measure whether you are obese. When measuring, stand relaxed. The ratio of waist circumference to hip circumference for men should be less than 0.8, and for women it should be less than 0.7. According to the standards recommended by the American College of Sports Medicine, when a woman's waist-to-hip ratio is greater than 0.85, she is at risk of cardiovascular disease and should pay attention to diet and exercise adjustments.
