How to get rid of chicken skin?

Chicken skin is the most common skin disease. The reason why it is called chicken skin is that it is basically raised on our skin. Some are white dots and some have red symptoms like acne. It is very similar to chicken skin, so people call this skin chicken skin. So how do we remove chicken skin and return our smooth skin? Let us first understand the methods and steps to remove chicken skin.

Methods and steps to remove chicken skin: 1. If you want to remove keratosis pilaris, you must first dissolve the cuticle, so you can use scrub, loofah, exfoliating brush, etc. when taking a bath, but don't overuse it!

2. More important than exfoliation is the use of body lotion to maintain keratosis pilaris. Keratosis pilaris is a very special type of skin that lacks both water and oil. Using ordinary body lotions will not be very effective. You must use a specially moisturizing body lotion to achieve the effect of hydrating and skin care for keratosis pilaris.

3. People with keratosis pilaris should not use too hot water when taking a bath, even in winter. The water temperature should generally be kept at 40 degrees, because hot water can easily take away the oil on the surface of the skin, which will undoubtedly make things worse for people with keratosis pilaris who lack water and oil. It is recommended that women with keratosis pilaris do not need to take a bath every day in winter, but once every 2-3 days is sufficient.

4. After completing the daily maintenance of keratosis follicularis, the next step is the treatment of keratosis follicularis. For particularly severe cases of keratosis pilaris, products containing salicylic acid are generally used for treatment. Salicylic acid itself is fat-soluble, so it can go along the opening of the hair follicles and follow the skin oil to reach the keratinized area, thereby dissolving the keratin and improving the symptoms.

Note: 1. Gentle exfoliation is important, but avoid excessive exfoliation. You should not rub your body vigorously with a bath ball when taking a bath, as this will only make keratosis pilaris worse.

2. Avoid squeezing, scratching, or picking at keratosis follicles with your hands, which can cause redness, swelling, and inflammation. This can make the pores more likely to become clogged, leading to more severe keratosis follicles.

For those who have chicken skin, don't worry. As long as we clean our skin or add something to the bath water when taking a bath, we can still have beautiful skin. For example, we can choose to use bath salt to clean chicken skin when taking a bath, or we can choose to use some essential oils for massage to help the skin absorb.
