Is japonica rice the same as rice?

In fact, both japonica rice and rice are grain foods, but japonica rice is a type of rice. Japonica rice has the effects of tonifying the middle and replenishing qi, strengthening the spleen and stomach, clearing away heat and quenching thirst. It has a good effect on helping to treat gastrointestinal disharmony, vomiting blood due to summer heat, and difficulty urinating.

1. Japonica rice (rice)

2. Indications: gastrointestinal discomfort, vomiting and diarrhea due to summer heat, difficulty urinating, and thirst.

Note: Japonica rice is a daily food, which people usually call rice or paddy rice. The best rice for medicinal use is the one that has been aged for many years, and is called Chencang rice. It is used to stop diarrhea, strengthen the stomach, relieve restlessness and quench thirst. Old rice or fried japonica rice can be used as medicine. Rice is best eaten as porridge for treating diseases. Rice porridge has the effects of nourishing the spleen, harmonizing the stomach, and clearing the lungs. It is a food suitable for the elderly, the weak, women and children. It is especially suitable for patients with weak spleen and stomach after illness or those with fever and thirst. Rice soup has the functions of invigorating qi, nourishing yin, and moistening dryness. It is sweet and flat in nature, contains a large amount of niacin, vitamin B1B2, inorganic salts such as phosphorus and iron, and a certain amount of nutrients such as carbohydrates and fat. It is beneficial to the development and health of the baby, can stimulate the secretion of gastric juice, help digestion, and promote the absorption of fat. It can also prompt the casein in milk powder to form loose and soft small clots, making it easy to digest and absorb. Therefore, it is ideal to use rice soup to make milk powder or give it to babies as a supplementary diet.

3. Japonica rice is an ancient and precious rice variety in my country. It is a black rice that resembles a black pearl. It contains much richer nutrients than high-quality white rice. It is a new type of health food. It has nourishing and medicinal value. It contains more than eight kinds of vitamins such as vitamin C, more than twenty kinds of amino acids and trace elements such as zinc, copper, iron, etc. which are called "sparks of life".
