Is hair dryer treatment of frozen shoulder effective?

Is hair dryer treatment of frozen shoulder effective?

In fact, frozen shoulder can be treated with a hair dryer. Just blow the affected area with a hair dryer for 1 to 2 minutes, but be sure to use hot air. Wait until the painful area of the shoulder becomes hot and slightly red, then a certain therapeutic effect can be achieved.

1. Periarthritis of the shoulder, also known as frozen shoulder, frozen shoulder, or scapulohumeral periarthritis, is a common disease with shoulder joint pain and difficulty in movement as the main symptoms. The disease is most common in people around 50 years old, with a slightly higher incidence in women than in men, and is more common in manual laborers. If not effectively treated, it may seriously affect the functional activities of the shoulder joint and hinder daily life. In the early stage of this disease, the shoulder joint presents paroxysmal pain, which is often triggered by weather changes and fatigue. Later, it gradually develops into persistent pain and gradually worsens, which is lighter during the day and heavier at night. The patient cannot sleep at night and cannot lie on the affected side. The active and passive movements of the shoulder joint in all directions are limited. When the shoulder is pulled, it can cause severe pain. There may be widespread tenderness in the shoulder joint, radiating to the neck and elbow, and varying degrees of atrophy of the deltoid muscle may also occur.

2. The method is to use a hair dryer with hot air on the affected area for 1-2 minutes, or longer if possible, to make the affected area warm and slightly red. Do this once or twice a day until it is healed. If you don't believe me, you can try it. It works immediately and you will feel relieved as soon as the wind blows. Remember, it must be hot wind, which works faster than taking medicine or getting an injection. This is something I have practiced!

3. In addition, you can do other exercises, such as: bending your elbows and shaking your hands, climbing the wall with your fingers, pulling your hands behind your body, standing with your arms extended, etc. It is mainly used to prevent atrophy and adhesion of local muscles in the shoulders and arms.

4. When doing the above work, don't forget to massage the foot and shoulder joint reflex area, which is located on the outer edge of the soles of both feet, with the fifth metatarsophalangeal joint as the center. Massage technique: single-finger scraping and pressing. You can scrape the dorsum of the foot, the middle, and the sole of the foot from the toes to the heel 5 times each. Function: Promote blood circulation, dispel wind and dampness, relieve pain and benefit joints. Indications: frozen shoulder, shoulder joint pain, arm weakness, shoulder and arm soreness, hand numbness, rheumatism, etc. Cooperate with pressing, pushing and pinching acupoints on the hand: press the Houxi acupoint, push the shoulder joint area, pinch the Taiyuan acupoint. Also, press the Sanli acupoint on the right hand with the belly of the left thumb, rub it for 1 minute, then switch to the right hand, 3 times a day; press the Yintang acupoint with the index and thumb, rotate and rub it for 1 minute each time, 3 times a day; rotate and rub the Taiyuan, Shenmen, shoulder joint on the palm side and the Yanggu, Hegu, Houxi, Yemen, Zhongzhu on the back of the hand. The most important thing is to push and press the foot and shoulder joints and hand and shoulder joints.
