Fruits and vegetables

The most important thing in preserving fruits and vegetables is to choose them carefully. For eggplants, tomatoes, green peppers, etc., choose those with firm and shiny skin; for cucumbers, choose those with more thorns. In addition, the refrigeration temperature must be maintained at 6°C. Too cold will cause fruits and vegetables to be frozen and lose their original flavor.

Spicy

Spicy vegetables are mostly used for seasoning, so the amount used is not large, so it is best to keep them in their original appearance when storing. That is, it is best to keep the onions and ginger with soil on them, so that they can be preserved the longest. The second is to freeze it. No matter whether it is chopped green onion, minced garlic, minced ginger or chili pepper, if they are stored in the freezer, they can be used for at least one month.

coriander

It is best to choose large coriander with roots, then tie them into small bundles, wrap them with a layer of paper and put them into a plastic bag. Tie the bag loosely, place the bag in a cool place with the coriander roots facing up, and take them out when you eat them. This ensures that the coriander will be fresh within 7-10 days. You can also prepare a cup of water, soak the coriander roots in the water, and change the water every day, which can also keep them fresh for a few days. To preserve it for a longer time, wash the coriander, cut it into suitable sizes, put it in a plastic bag, and store it in the freezer of the refrigerator. Take it out when needed without thawing. The taste will not deteriorate and the coriander will not go bad.
