What are the serious symptoms of anal papilloma

What are the serious symptoms of anal papilloma

The popular explanation of anal papilloma is that the anal papilla has become larger. This is because people's stool and body inflammation have long-term stimulation of the anus, which will cause the anal papilla to become larger and harder over time. It is one of the benign tumors of the anorectum. The patient population is mostly young and middle-aged people, and the incidence rate in women is higher than that in men. Common symptoms include anal itching, discomfort and a feeling of incomplete defecation. It is a non-contagious disease.

Causes

1. Pathological changes caused by infection, trauma or irritation of the anal canal, such as irritation of chronic intestinal inflammation, stool accumulated in the rectum for too long in people with habitual constipation, or dry and hard stool.

2. Damage caused during defecation leading to secondary bacterial infection, etc.

3. Due to the hyperplasia of some anal canal and rectal ectoderm and subcutaneous tissue, there may be individual differences in the number, shape and size of anal papilloma.

4. Most patients with enlarged anal papillae also have anal cryptitis.

Clinical manifestations

1. Feeling of incomplete defecation

After defecation, the patient still has excrement left in the anus, and there is a feeling of falling, which is the feeling of incomplete defecation. For some female patients, this feeling will be more intense during menstruation.

2. Anal Itching

Papilloma repeatedly protrudes out of the anus during bowel movements, causing friction on the anus and leading to inflammation, which causes anal secretions to leak out, irritates the skin around the anus, and causes itching.

3. Incarceration

When the anal nipple becomes larger and protrudes out of the anus, it can easily cause incarceration if it cannot be pushed back into the anus in time, leading to swelling, pain, and restlessness in the anus.

4. Anal discomfort

Anal itching, swelling, and pain. Sometimes inflammation also occurs.

5. Bleeding and pain

When the excrement is dry and hard, it will rub or scratch the anus, sometimes causing blood in the stool, and in severe cases there will be blood dripping. prevention

1. Actively exercise, strengthen physical fitness, promote blood circulation, enhance local disease resistance, and prevent anal papilla hypertrophy and infection.

2. Keep the anus clean, change underwear frequently, and clean the anus after defecation every day, which plays a positive role in preventing infection.

3. Actively prevent and treat other anal diseases that cause hypertrophy of anal papillae, such as anal cryptitis, anal papillitis, perianal abscess, etc.

4. Actively prevent and treat systemic diseases that cause perianal abscesses, such as ulcerative colitis, intestinal tuberculosis, etc.

5. Do not sit in wet places for a long time to prevent the anus from getting cold and wet, which may cause infection.
