What is the best way to treat cerebral infarction

Cerebral infarction is a common brain disease. The elderly are the main group suffering from the disease. In recent years, the incidence rate among young and middle-aged people has also shown a clear upward trend. This is related to poor diet and lack of exercise. Timely treatment is required after cerebral infarction occurs. It can achieve a certain therapeutic effect by promoting the reduction of blood viscosity. Western medicine has a good effect in this regard. Of course, for chronic diseases, the effect of Chinese medicine is also very good.

1. Western medicine treatment:

Western medicine has the advantages of rapid effect and targeted treatment in treating the sequelae of cerebral infarction. Cerebral infarction is the result of the combined effects of blood diseases (blood viscosity, hyperlipidemia, etc.) and vascular diseases (atherosclerotic plaque formation, vascular stenosis, etc.). Moreover, most Western medicines will produce different drug resistances; the vast majority of Western medicines have obvious side effects.

2. Treatment with Chinese medicine:

Most Chinese medicines are slow to take effect, and modern Chinese medicines have the disadvantages of unstable pharmacological components, large dosages, and unreasonable dosage forms.

3. Anticoagulant therapy: Commonly used drugs include heparin and low molecular weight heparin, and coagulation testing must be performed. The main side effect is bleeding, and low molecular weight heparin is safer than unfractionated heparin. This is also a treatment measure for cerebral infarction.

4. Surgical treatment:

There is no unified conclusion on the efficacy, mortality and disability rate of surgical treatment for sequelae of cerebral infarction. Even though some surgical cases can improve the patient's short-term survival rate, the long-term effect is often not as good as the short-term effect and is not ideal. Moreover, patients with sequelae of cerebral infarction are mostly elderly people in their sixties and seventies, whose body resistance and tolerance are weaker than those of young people, so surgical treatment is not recommended.

5. Rehabilitation treatment:

It is the main method for treating cerebrovascular disease abroad. Generally, systematic, standardized and individualized rehabilitation treatment begins 3 to 7 days after the onset of the disease. This type of treatment for cerebral infarction is relatively effective.

We all hope that our later years will be comfortable and happy, but if a cerebral infarction occurs, this hope will be completely shattered. Among various cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, cerebral infarction is not an ordinary disease. It is a relatively active disease in the history of domestic diseases. We can only take active preventive, therapeutic and nursing measures to keep the disease away from us, enable us to return to normal life, and let the elderly enjoy their later years.
