What's wrong with my big and hard belly

What's wrong with my big and hard belly

Many people have big bellies, but it does not seem to be due to fat accumulation. It seems more like it is filled with air and feels hard, similar to a beer belly. So why is the belly so big and hard? Many people are not surprised by this. In fact, a big and hard belly is likely due to the accumulation of stool. Let us now understand what stool retention is and what other reasons there are for a big, hard belly.

The three dirtiest things in the human stomach are:

1 is turbid air.

2 means turbid water.

3 is stool retention.

Turbid air needs to be expelled through burping or farting. If not, it means that there is a blockage somewhere in the body. Turbid water is the gurgling sound you mentioned, and it makes a sound when you push it with your hand. Old stool is the hard stuff you mentioned, but old stool and constipation are not the same thing.

Fecal retention is not a medical concept, but a promotional hype for health and weight loss products. According to this statement, fecal retention is the source of toxins accumulated in the body. The theory of fecal retention borrows and replaces concepts and theories of Chinese and Western medicine and has no scientific basis. These products are actually stimulant laxatives and are harmful to the body if taken for a long time.

"Fecal retention" is not a medical concept, as I have not found a definition for it in any textbook. In this way, it is difficult to understand what "fecal impaction" is. In fact, this term was fabricated by so-called weight-loss products just for the purpose of advertising and marketing.

Literally speaking, it should be the feces accumulated in the body, that is, the feces accumulated in the body and not yet excreted.

From the perspective of the food digestion process, after chewing and initial digestion in the mouth, the food enters the stomach through the esophagus, is fully mixed with gastric acid and various digestive juices, and then enters the intestine, passes through the duodenum, jejunum, ileum, cecum, colon, sigmoid colon, and rectum, and is excreted from the body.

In this process, only when the food residue enters the colon, the water in the residue is absorbed, and the residue begins to gather and take shape, can feces begin to form. Therefore, the so-called stool accumulation should be the feces accumulated at the end of the colon and ready to be discharged from the body.
