Can alcohol kill mites?

Can alcohol kill mites?

In real life, mites are a relatively common parasite. They usually live on beds, pillows, quilts, and human skin, which can easily cause enlarged pores or blackheads on the skin. Alcohol is a relatively common liquid, but it cannot kill mites. Other methods can be used to remove mites.

Does alcohol kill mites?

Alcohol cannot kill mites. Mites are very small animals that usually live in human skin. If you have mites, you will have severe acne and blackheads on your face, and sometimes red spots. You can use some mite-removing facial cleansers to wash your face. Mites usually live in dusty or poorly maintained areas, so you must keep your home clean and wash your face several times a day.

Mite removal method

Mites like moisture and are afraid of light, so keeping the room ventilated and well-lit and keeping the room dry will help inhibit the breeding of mites from a macro-environmental perspective. If indoor ventilation is not possible, a high-efficiency air purifier can be used to remove allergens and tiny pollutants from the air. However, it is best if the air purifier has a mite removal function.

Mites like to live in cotton, linen and plush fabrics, so don't use plush toys, don't lay carpets, and don't use fabric sofas or fabric curtains. You can use leather sofas and blinds instead.

Since beds are made of cotton and linen, and accumulate a lot of dandruff shed from our bodies, a large number of mites will breed. According to statistics, there are at least several million mites living on an average bed. To get rid of bedding mites, you need to do two things:

(a) Soak and wash quilt covers, pillowcases and bed sheets in hot water at about 60°C. Hot water at 60°C can effectively kill mites and soften them.

The dead insects are easy to remove.

(2) The quilt core, pillow core and mattress cannot be washed with water, but we can wrap them with professional anti-mite fabric. Anti-mite fabrics have a very dense fiber structure and the gaps between the fibers are much smaller than the volume of mites and their feces, so they can 100% seal off the mites that breed in bedding. While preventing them from coming into contact with the human body, they can also cut off their food chain, ultimately achieving the effect of removing mites.

Dust is also the breeding ground for mites, so removing indoor dust is important for removing and preventing mites. To reduce indoor dust, we must first simplify interior decoration and layout to reduce sanitary dead corners and dust. Secondly, you should often use the "wet operation" method to remove dust, that is, use water to do cleaning work, such as sprinkling water before sweeping the floor, wiping furniture with a wet rag, etc. The "wet operation" method can remove dust more thoroughly and effectively prevent mites from infecting our bodies and entering the respiratory tract with dust. If you don't have much time to do sanitation and dust removal work, you can use a mite vacuum cleaner to remove mites. It can reduce your physical strength and time expenditure and remove dust and mites with half the effort.
