Coronary heart disease dietary taboos, must pay attention to

Patients should pay special attention to their usual diet, as any carelessness will aggravate the condition. Coronary heart disease is a relatively serious disease in our lives. In the face of such a disease, in addition to timely medical treatment, corresponding control should also be exercised in daily diet. So what are the dietary taboos for patients with coronary heart disease?

1. Eat less high-fat, high-calorie foods

If you continue to eat a high-fat, high-calorie diet for a long time, your blood lipids will further increase, blood viscosity will increase, arteriosclerotic plaques will easily form, and ultimately lead to recurrence of thrombosis. Foods that are high in fat and cholesterol, such as fatty meat, animal offal, fish eggs, peanuts, etc. should be eaten less; whole milk, cream, egg yolk, fatty pork, fatty lamb, fatty beef, liver, offal, butter, lard, tallow, mutton fat, coconut oil, etc. should be avoided or used sparingly; frying, stir-frying, or grilling should be avoided.

2. Protein intake should be low

Many citizens believe that protein is an essential nutrient for maintaining heart health, and therefore eat a lot of protein foods. According to experts, protein is difficult to digest and can easily increase the burden on the heart. Therefore, protein intake should be moderate, and the daily protein content in food should not exceed 1 gram per kilogram of body weight. Milk, yogurt, fish and soy products are beneficial in preventing and treating coronary heart disease.

3. Avoid eating raw, cold, spicy or irritating foods

Foods such as white wine, pepper, spicy hot pot, and hot foods such as strong tea, mung beans, lamb, and dog meat are not suitable for people with coronary heart disease.

4. Overeating can easily induce angina pectoris

Relevant experts kindly remind that for patients with coronary artery stenosis, when the stomach expands, it will cause increased blood pressure and increased myocardial oxygen consumption. Therefore, patients with coronary heart disease should avoid overeating.
