Take a deep breath and there will be a sound of wind in the lungs

If you feel a drafty sound in your lungs when you take a deep breath, it does not rule out the possibility that it is caused by acute bronchitis or dust allergy. Friends who experience a windy sound in their lungs when they take a deep breath are most likely in a work environment that is likely to cause the above problems. Acute bronchitis is a common disease with symptoms such as cough and fever. Let us now learn about the treatment of acute bronchitis.

Treatment of acute bronchitis

General treatment: Follow routine respiratory treatment, including changing body position frequently, drinking plenty of water to make respiratory secretions easier to cough up, and pay attention to regulating indoor temperature and humidity. Treatment of acute bronchitis: Paying attention to physical exercise, strengthening physical fitness, and preventing and treating colds are effective measures to prevent this disease. You should also take care to avoid the stimulation of harmful irritants such as dust, irritating gases, environmental irritants, and the inhalation of allergens such as pollen.

Control infection: If bacteria are suspected, antibiotics may be considered for the treatment of acute bronchitis, such as penicillin, 25,000 to 50,000 U intramuscularly twice a day; in severe cases, 50,000 to 100,000 U/kg may be given intravenously, 2-3 times a day. Cephalosporin antibiotics can also be taken orally or intravenously, and have a broader antibacterial spectrum. When Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection is considered, macrolide antibiotics should be given, commonly azithromycin 4-8 mg/(kg?d), intravenous drip for 3-5 days.

Symptomatic treatment: It is generally not recommended to use cough suppressants or sedatives in the treatment of acute bronchitis, so as not to suppress the cough reflex or affect the coughing up of sputum.

Expectorant and cough relieving: Expectorant and cough relieving are important means of treating bronchitis, which are conducive to coughing up phlegm and accelerating the recovery of inflammation. Commonly used medicines include compound licorice mixture, ambroxol, bromhexine, and children's cough syrup. Bromhexine has the effect of diluting sputum and strengthening tracheal ciliary movement. It can be used orally, 2 to 4 mg each time for children under 1 year old, 8 mg each time for children 1 to 4 years old, and 12 mg each time for older children, 3 times a day. For those with thick sputum, ultrasonic nebulization inhalation can also be used, such as 10% ammonium chloride plus hypertonic saline, or gentamicin, chymotrypsin, dexamethasone, ribavirin, interferon, etc. plus normal saline nebulization inhalation.

The above are the treatment methods for acute bronchitis. I believe that after reading the above introduction, you have already understood these treatment methods. If you find symptoms of bronchitis, you should go to a regular hospital in time for standardized and reasonable treatment. In addition to treatment, do not ignore usual prevention. Only by combining prevention can we better control acute bronchitis.
