Oil stains on down jacket

Down jackets are a common type of coat in winter. They are filled with some feathers, which are then sterilized at high temperature and then filled into clothes to form down jackets. Down jackets are mainly made of some silk and are comfortable to wear. They are not prone to fiberboard welding and can maintain more air inside, which is also very good for the warmth retention of the clothes. When cleaning down jackets in daily life, you should also be careful not to wash them casually, and pay attention to some details.

When using a down jacket or eating, you must pay attention to cleaning it well. The grease will still be there when you wear it next time. If you don't clean it once, it will lead to the production of grease many times, which will only accumulate. The down jacket still needs to be strictly washed.

Let the detergent stay on the clothes for a few minutes. When clothes are stained with oil, do not rush to rinse with clean water. First apply the detergent to the oily stain on the clothes, let the detergent stay on the clothes for about 20 minutes, then gently rub them with your hands, and finally, rinse with clean water to thoroughly wash away the oil stain.

Apply toothpaste or squeeze some toothpaste on the stain, rub it gently a few times, and then scrub it with clean water, and the grease can be removed. Alcohol or salt: Apply alcohol or salt solution to greasy areas to remove the grease.

Salt water and soap: If your clothes are stained with cooked oil, soak them in warm salt water, then rub them with soap and rinse them to remove the stains.

If there are oil stains on silk clothes, you can mix the talcum powder into a paste and apply it to the oil stain. After leaving it for a while, peel off the talcum powder, put some thin paper on the silk, and iron it flat with an electric iron at low temperature.

Alcohol and chalk powder. If there are oil stains on the leather jacket, you can apply a paste made of alcohol and chalk powder on the oil stains on the leather jacket. After the paste dries, carefully wipe it off.

The above are some small methods to remove oil stains from down jackets. You can refer to them. They are mainly cleaned with detergent, toothpaste, alcohol, salt, etc. Salt water and soap can also be used to clean down jackets. If there are oil stains, you can use alcohol or powder on the down jacket to gently wipe them off. Down jackets are very good for warmth retention, and the washing part should also be handled well.
