Can I eat Matsutake if I have high uric acid?

There are many people with high uric acid in daily life. Everyone knows that people with high uric acid need to pay special attention to their diet, especially they cannot eat high-purine foods, otherwise it will aggravate the condition. People with high uric acid are best not to eat Matsutake. In addition to eating less high-purine foods, people with high uric acid should also avoid eating seafood, drinking alcohol, exercising more, drinking more water, and eating more fresh vegetables and fruits.

How to treat high uric acid

1. For the regular diet, you must eat a light diet. It is strictly forbidden to eat animal offal and hot pot and other foods. Do not drink beer, and eat less bean foods.

2. Eat foods that can lower uric acid regularly, such as coix seed, barley, eggplant and other foods are very good. I hope everyone can pay attention to this.

3. Develop a good habit of soaking your feet regularly. It is best to soak your feet every day, preferably in a footbath that can be automatically heated, for at least 20 minutes and no more than 30 minutes each time, until the whole body sweats slightly. When washing your feet, you can add some Chinese medicine that can promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis.

4. Drinking papaya tea can lower uric acid. Choose green papayas that are 70% to 80% ripe. There is no limit to the variety of tea. Put the two together and cook them. Do not peel the watermelon skin. Cook for about 20 minutes and you can drink it.

5. Boil magnolia leaves in water and drink it to lower uric acid. Pick a number of magnolia leaves, depending on the size of the container for boiling water. Generally, ten leaves can boil a pot of water. You can drink it directly after cooking. If you think it tastes bitter, you can add a small amount of honey to the water to enhance the taste.

6. If gout attacks occur, medication can be used to relieve or control the pain. Colchicine tablets can be used to quickly relieve pain.

Symptoms of high uric acid

1. Asymptomatic hyperuricemia: Blood tests may reveal an increased blood uric acid concentration, but no clinical symptoms such as arthritis, hyperuricemia or kidney stones appear. During this period, it is generally difficult to detect unless a test is done. Asymptomatic hyperuricemia may last for 10 to 20 years, and some people may never develop hyperuricemia throughout their lives. Generally speaking, the higher the blood uric acid level, the greater the risk of hyperuricemia.

2. Acute hyperuricemia arthritis: It often occurs in spring and autumn. Partial joint injuries, certain medications, infections, and surgical procedures can all trigger acute attacks.

These factors can cause the already supersaturated uric acid to form needle-shaped crystals that are deposited in the synovial fluid. The crystals are regarded as foreign by the white blood cells in the body and are phagocytosed. After being phagocytosed, they release inflammatory factors and cause acute attacks.

3. Gouty arthritis: The common attack sites are the thumb joint, ankle joint, knee joint, etc. Some patients with long-term gout may experience attacks in the finger joints or even the soft tissue part of the ear. The site of acute gout attack becomes red, swollen, hot and painful. It usually occurs at midnight and can wake people from sleep. In the early stages of gout, attacks often occur in the lower limbs. Gout can also cause kidney damage.

What should not be eaten if uric acid is high

1. Animal offal

Such as pancreas, liver, kidney, bone marrow, and large intestine (high in purine). Vegetables: spinach, greens, radishes, etc.

Because spinach and other plants are rich in oxalic acid, they can easily cause hyperoxaluria to increase exponentially, causing a rapid increase in uric acid and increasing the burden on the kidneys.

2. Seafood, shellfish, etc.

The reason why you cannot eat seafood, shellfish, green algae, such as lobster, crab, oyster, etc.: Because these foods are rich in polysaccharides and high protein, which will increase the burden on the kidneys and increase uric acid, so they should not be eaten too much.

However, some of these foods are rich in astaxanthin, a powerful natural antioxidant, which can reduce the source of uric acid by 80%. How to "discard the dross and retain the essence"? A good way is for gout patients to supplement astaxanthin with pure products, rather than "eating puffer fish at all costs" to supplement astaxanthin by eating the above foods.

3. Protein

Protein can be consumed in proportion according to body weight. 0.8 to 1 gram of protein should be consumed for 1 kilogram of body weight, and milk and eggs should be the main sources. If it is lean meat, chicken, duck, etc., it should be boiled and then eaten without soup. Avoid eating stewed or braised meat.
