Night is the time when the body and brain fall asleep. At night, various organs begin to stop functioning and enter the detoxification stage. This requires people to fall into a deep sleep. Poor sleep quality will seriously affect people’s normal life and work. If you want to restore your body to health, you must have a good sleep. There are many ways to improve sleep quality, such as diet, changing the environment, etc. So what should you do if you don’t sleep well?

The bedroom environment should be comfortable. The bedroom where you sleep at night must create a good sleeping environment. It is best not to turn on the light too brightly, and the indoor temperature should be controlled at around 15 to 20 degrees. Never turn on the TV with too much noise, as it is easy to fall asleep. Keep the indoor air circulating to ensure good sleep quality.

Sleeping posture: You must choose a posture that you feel comfortable in, so that you can relax the muscles of your whole body. It is best to choose a comfortable bed so that you can have a deep sleep and relieve physical fatigue.

Keep a peaceful mind. Don’t watch overly exciting or stimulating movies or TV shows before going to bed. This will make it easy for you to fall asleep with bad emotions and it will be difficult to maintain a peaceful mind. Therefore, when you sleep, your brain will easily become full of random thoughts and you may even suffer from insomnia.

Don’t overeat before going to bed. Many people may have the habit of eating midnight snacks. In fact, this habit is very bad. Try not to eat anything after dinner at night. If you eat too much, you will often feel stomach discomfort when you go to bed, so try to control your diet at night.

Soak your feet in hot water before going to bed, and insist on soaking your feet in hot water every night. This can effectively relieve foot fatigue, thereby promoting blood circulation in the body, and can make people more peaceful and sleep more deeply at night.

Relieve eye fatigue. If you work excessively during the day and look at computers and mobile phones for a long time, it will easily cause eye fatigue. Eye fatigue will affect our sleep and the quality of sleep. Therefore, before going to bed, you can massage your eyes properly, do eye exercises, etc., which can eliminate eye fatigue and you can fall asleep quickly.

You can comb your hair before going to bed. There are actually many acupoints on our head, so you can comb your hair appropriately before going to bed. If you are a male friend, you can also massage your scalp with both hands to stimulate these acupoints on the head, thereby promoting blood circulation in the body, which can eliminate fatigue well and let us fall asleep quickly.
