What medicine is good for osteosarcoma

Some parents consider that osteosarcoma patients are relatively young and are afraid that amputation or other surgical treatments will cause psychological trauma to their children. They want to control and treat the disease through drugs. In fact, clinical treatment of osteosarcoma with traditional Chinese medicine has achieved certain results. Here I will introduce to you what medicine is good for osteosarcoma?

Osteosarcoma is a malignant tumor with a relatively high mortality rate among children and adolescents. It can also lead to some complications, such as pain-avoiding claudication, or limited joint movement and muscle atrophy. Therefore, for patients with osteosarcoma, they should start early chemotherapy or radiotherapy after diagnosis, and then undergo surgical resection. Generally, radical surgery is required. If conditions permit, local extensive resection can be performed while preserving the limbs. There are also immunotherapy, such as intravenous infusion of lymphocytes, or the use of interferon and transfer factor, but the specific efficacy is uncertain. If you choose Chinese medicine to treat osteosarcoma, you should pay attention to dialectical medication, as follows:

1. Yin-cold stagnation syndrome: Chinese medicine treatment should warm the yang, relieve stagnation, unblock meridians and resolve stagnation. The following prescriptions can be selected: cooked rehmannia, cinnamon bark, antler glue, ephedra, white mustard seed, roasted ginger, raw licorice, clematis, psoralea corylifolia, radix polygoni avicularis, rhizoma alba, radix aconiti kusnezoffii, appropriate amount of each, decocted in water and taken orally.

2. Toxic-heat accumulation syndrome: The treatment should focus on clearing away heat and detoxifying, removing blood stasis and dispersing accumulation. The following prescriptions can be chosen: Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, Solanum nigrum, Lonicera japonica, Taraxacum mongolicum, Radix Clematis, Herba Polygoni Multiflori, Cynanchum indica, Radix Trichosanthis, Phellodendron chinense, Achyranthes bidentata, Scutellaria baicalensis, Scolopendra subspinipes, Paeonia lactiflora, Frankincense, Myrrh, and Raw Licorice. Take appropriate amounts of each and decoct in water.

The above are two traditional Chinese medicine treatments for osteosarcoma. Patients can choose according to their own symptoms. Osteosarcoma is very harmful and has a high mortality rate. Therefore, once osteosarcoma is diagnosed, effective methods should be taken in time for treatment. For those who are suitable for surgical treatment, it is recommended to have surgery in time and not just rely on drug treatment to avoid missing the best time for surgery.
