Breast cancer prefers Chinese women? Why?

Breast cancer is one of the most common tumors in women. The average age of breast cancer diagnosis in Chinese women is between 45 and 55 years old, which is about 10 or even 20 years younger than the average age of diagnosis in Western women. What is the reason for the shocking high incidence of breast cancer in Chinese women?

Small breasts

Yes, you read it right. Asian women's breasts are characterized by less fat and more glands. Scientific evidence shows that women with small breasts are 4-6 times more likely to develop breast cancer than women with large breasts. More than half of Chinese women have cup sizes of A or B. Now we finally understand why so many Chinese women suffer from breast cancer.

Fat

A large number of research results show that overweight or obese women, especially those after menopause, are at a significantly higher risk of breast cancer than women of normal weight; once obese women develop breast cancer, they are more likely to have axillary lymph node metastasis, and the postoperative recurrence rate is also higher than that of non-obese women; the mortality rate of obese women with breast cancer is also significantly higher than that of women of normal weight. In China, a considerable number of women are tired of life after getting married and starting a family, neglecting exercise and even neglecting to manage their body shape, and many of them have weight gain and obesity problems. Therefore, married women should pay more attention to a balanced diet, reasonable exercise, and manage their weight and health.

Late childbearing

According to relevant survey data, women who have never given birth are 2.5 times more likely to develop breast cancer than women who have given birth. Women who give birth after the age of 35 are more than twice as likely to develop breast cancer as women who give birth in their 20s. This means that pregnancy and childbirth at a normal age will greatly reduce the risk of breast cancer.

Unwilling to breastfeed

In my country, more and more young mothers are unwilling to breastfeed their children in order to maintain their figure, or they are unable to continue breastfeeding due to work and other reasons. A recent study showed that for every 12 months of breastfeeding, the overall risk of breast cancer in all multiparous women is reduced by 4%. The reason is that breastfeeding has two main protective effects for mothers: first, breastfeeding can reduce cell malignancy; second, it reduces the number of times sex hormones stimulate the breast, maintaining the balance of the breast.

Wearing underwear incorrectly

Wearing underwear that is too small and too tight, especially during menstruation, can cause the appearance of accessory breasts or axillary lymph nodes under the armpits; not taking off underwear in time when resting or sleeping, not changing underwear frequently, etc., all of these can lead to stagnation of qi and blood in the chest and blockage of blood vessels, thereby causing various breast diseases.
