What are the nursing methods after gastric cancer surgery? There are two aspects

Postoperative care for gastric cancer is generally divided into two aspects. The first is short-term care. The patient should lie flat without a pillow within 6 hours after the operation. Vital signs including breathing, pulse, blood pressure and heart rate should be monitored. The patient should start to eat water and liquid food on the second day after the operation, and then gradually eat semi-liquid food to help the gastrointestinal function recover. The patient should receive rehabilitation guidance after the operation, including functional exercise guidance and regular follow-up after the operation, as well as nursing, medication and lifestyle guidance for radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
