Blood streaks on the face

Blood streaks on the face

There are many reasons for bloodshot eyes. The most common one is caused by geography. People living in plateau areas have more obvious red bloodshot eyes. However, there are many reasons for red blood streaks, which are closely related to cold and hot stimulation, and the use of drugs without understanding them. If this phenomenon happens to us, we must find out the cause as soon as possible and solve the problem accordingly. Let’s take a look at the reasons why bloodshot eyes appear on the face.

The red blood streaks on the face are a phenomenon of redness and heat on the face caused by dilation of facial capillaries or the superficial location of some capillaries. The red blood streaks are criss-crossed like a spider web and dispersedly distributed. In severe cases, they will connect into flakes and turn into a red face. This kind of skin is thin and sensitive, and the face will become redder when it is too cold, too hot, emotionally excited, or when the temperature changes suddenly.

Main symptoms

The symptoms of red blood streaks appear as filamentous, dot-like, star-shaped or flaky erythema on the face. If you look closely, you can see many red blood vessels on the skin, like strands of red threads. Red blood streaks not only affect your beauty, but also your health, seriously affecting the skin's ability to absorb nutrients. Over time, it leads to insufficient nutrient supply to the skin, causing symptoms of roughness, dryness and premature aging. In traditional Chinese medicine theory, it is called "red face", and the cause is attributed to heat in the heart meridian and poor blood circulation. This is a common symptom of telangiectasia.

Causes

1. Long-term local use of corticosteroids can cause capillary dilation, thinning and atrophy of the skin, and cause facial redness;

2. Living in high-altitude cold areas or suffering from frostbite, which results in obstructed blood circulation and stasis of blood vessel walls, causing red blood streaks on the face;

3. After cosmetic skin resurfacing, because skin resurfacing products mainly contain "benzoic acid", "benzoic acid" repeatedly stimulates the thin and delicate facial parts, exposing the unprotected dermis to the outside and receiving strong ultraviolet radiation;

4. After the stratum corneum is polished, the skin temporarily looks whiter, but because the surface layer that protects the skin is damaged, the epidermis becomes thinner, and red blood cells are easy to seep out, forming red blood streaks on the face;

5. Blood vessels are aging, fragile, and lack elasticity. Blood vessels contract slowly, and red blood cells easily seep out, forming red blood streaks on the face.
