Testicular cancer is a malignant tumor that can metastasize. Lymphatic metastasis may occur in the early stages of the disease. As the disease worsens, bloodstream metastasis may occur, leading to metastatic tumors in the lungs, liver, bones, and other parts of the body.

1. Lymphatic metastasis

When testicular cancer is still in the early stages of the disease, lymph node metastasis may occur. The lymph nodes next to the abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava at the level of the renal hilum are common metastatic sites. As the disease worsens, it will also metastasize to lymph nodes in other parts of the body.

2. Hematogenous metastasis

When testicular cancer develops to the late stage, hematogenous metastasis will occur, and cancer cells will be transferred to organs such as the lungs and liver through the blood circulation, or bone metastasis may occur.
