Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are both commonly used treatments for breast cancer, but whether radiotherapy and chemotherapy are needed is mainly determined by the stage of breast cancer. For stage I breast cancer, adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy are not required after surgery. Regular follow-up after surgery is sufficient. Surgery is the preferred method for early and mid-stage breast cancer. The purpose of surgery is to remove the lesion tissue.
