What are the characteristics of poorly differentiated thyroid cancer? What is the incidence rate of poorly differentiated thyroid cancer?

Poorly differentiated thyroid cancer is a type of malignant tumor in the human body. The incidence of this disease accounts for approximately 10% to 15% of thyroid cancer. The main characteristics of this disease are that it is more common in the elderly and weak, and the onset is very rapid. In the early stages, there is a probability of systemic metastasis, so it should be treated early.

Poorly differentiated thyroid cancer is the most malignant type of thyroid cancer, accounting for about 10-15% of all thyroid cancers. It is more common in the elderly and weak, with rapid onset and early systemic metastasis. It is generally believed that it is mostly benign white tumors or low-malignant tumors. The symptoms of this disease mainly include a long-term history of thyroid enlargement, which has rapidly increased in the near future and produced local compression symptoms, such as dyspnea, dysphagia, distended neck veins, hoarseness, etc., which are caused by the tumor compressing the trachea, esophagus, jugular vein and recurrent laryngeal nerve. Neck pain, hard, fixed mass, unclear boundaries.

Macroscopic observation: The tumor is large, the lesion is irregular, without capsule, with extensive infiltration and destruction, gray-white cut surface, often with bleeding and necrosis. Microscopic observation: The cancer cells vary in size, shape, and staining depth, with many nuclear division images. Histologically, they can be divided into small cell type, spindle cell type, giant cell type, and mixed cell type.

The incidence of poorly differentiated thyroid cancer is relatively high in my country. If you find something wrong with your thyroid, you should go to the hospital for relevant examinations and treatment in time to prevent malignant lesions. In daily life, patients are advised to eat more light foods, pay attention to maintaining a healthy diet, and develop good work and rest habits, go to bed early and get up early, and exercise effectively to restore proper immunity and better control the disease.
