Cervical erosion is cervicitis, and most married women suffer from this disease. Modern medical research shows that cervical erosion has a certain relationship with cervical cancer. According to census statistics, the incidence of cervical cancer is 10 times that of women with cervical erosion. Cervical erosion is often combined with papillomavirus (HPV) virus infection, which is a risk factor for cervical cancer. Many patients with cervical erosion complain of symptoms such as excessive vaginal discharge, excessive blood streaking, pain during intercourse or bleeding after intercourse, backache and abdominal pain, and discomfort during urination. It is difficult to distinguish cervical erosion from early cervical cancer with the naked eye. The occurrence of cervical cancer is a continuous pathological process from precancerous lesions to cancer, that is, from atypical cervical hyperplasia to carcinoma in situ, and finally to invasive cancer, which takes about 5 to 10 years. Most early cervical cancers have no obvious symptoms, or only symptoms similar to cervical erosion, which can be easily misdiagnosed and mistreated. The most common symptoms are abnormal increase in vaginal discharge (sometimes yellow or bloody vaginal discharge with a foul odor), vaginal bleeding after sexual intercourse or gynecological examination (contact bleeding), and irregular vaginal bleeding. If the above symptoms occur, you should go to the hospital immediately, and the doctor will do the following tests for you: ① Gynecological examination; ② Cervical smear cytology examination; ③ Colposcopy; ④ HPV (human papillomavirus) test; ⑤Cervical biopsy and pathological examination. Cervical cancer is a preventable disease, and the prevention effect is better than any other cancer. Therefore, although cervical cancer ranks second among female malignant tumors, its mortality rate is very low. Early screening of the disease is very convenient, such as TCT; prevention measures are also simple as long as you pay attention to the following matters: ① Actively participate in the census of women's diseases; ② Pay attention to the prevention and treatment of chronic cervical diseases, and actively treat cervical precancerous lesions such as cervical erosion, cervical condyloma, and cervical atypical hyperplasia; ③Advocating family planning and late marriage and childbearing; ④ Popularize health knowledge and strengthen women's hygiene; ⑤ Strengthen sex education and carry out education on self-discipline. |
