Cholangiocytic

Primary liver cancer of the cholangiocarcinoma type is relatively rare in medicine. The cancer cells mainly develop through the bile duct epithelial cells. We can find that there are more adenoid fibrous tissues, but fewer sinusoids. The probability of this type of cancer occurring in medicine is relatively low, but it does not mean that this type of cancer will not occur.

Hepatocellular

Hepatocellular carcinoma is the most common type of primary liver cancer in medicine, accounting for about 90% of primary liver cancer patients. This type of primary liver cancer mostly evolves from the development of hepatocytes. We can find that the cancer cells are arranged in a polygonal shape, and very rich sinusoids can be seen between the nests and cables. There are no interstitial components between the sinusoids. We can see that the cytoplasm is rich, and there is a tendency for it to gradually grow into the sinusoids.

Hybrid

Mixed primary liver cancer is also relatively rare. It can be mainly divided into two different structures: hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma. Sometimes it is similar to hepatocellular carcinoma, but sometimes it is more similar to cholangiocarcinoma. For this reason, it is medically called mixed.
