How to prevent liver cancer in daily life? You should do this to prevent liver cancer

Liver cancer is a disease with a relatively high incidence in my country. Studies have shown that improper consumption of ginger can also lead to liver cancer. How can we prevent liver cancer in daily life?

Eating more ginger may increase the risk of liver cancer

Research by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) shows that safrole can cause liver cancer. Adding 0.04% to 1% safrole to the feed of mice for 150 days to 2 years can induce liver cancer in mice. Ginger contains safrole. Excessive consumption of ginger can easily increase the risk of liver cancer. In addition, rotten ginger produces toxins that can also cause cancer. Some people think that "rotten ginger does not taste rotten", but this idea has no scientific basis and is also very dangerous. Because rotten ginger produces toxins, in severe cases it can cause liver cancer and esophageal cancer. Therefore, everything should be moderate, just like ginger. Eating less can strengthen the body, but eating more can easily cause liver cancer.

How to prevent liver cancer in daily life

1. Prevent hepatitis

Using hepatitis vaccines to prevent hepatitis and thus liver cancer has become one of the most promising ways to prevent liver cancer. Not only should children be vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine when they are born, but adults who have not been vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine or have not had hepatitis should also be vaccinated with hepatitis B. This can block some hepatitis from developing into liver cancer.

2. Stop drinking

Alcohol in the human body needs to be detoxified by the liver, the largest chemical factory in the human body. The acetaldehyde produced in this metabolic process is extremely toxic to the human body and can cause cell damage, fat deposition in liver cells, inflammatory necrosis of liver cells, and proliferation of fibrous connective tissue, and eventually lead to cirrhosis of the liver, some of which will turn into liver cancer.

3. Avoid overwork

Excessive mental or physical labor can not only reduce the body's resistance of liver cancer patients, leading to the recurrence or metastasis of cancer, but also aggravate liver damage and lead to worsening of the disease.

4. Regular

Physical examinations show that patients with chronic hepatitis B or hepatitis C have a 10-30 times higher chance of developing liver cancer than normal people. If hepatitis is cured, but the damage to the liver caused by the hepatitis virus has not disappeared, that is, the basis for cancer still exists, so regular examinations should be conducted. For people over 35 years old who are positive for hepatitis B surface antigen, have chronic hepatitis or liver cirrhosis for more than 5 years, and have a family history of liver cancer in three generations of their direct relatives, testing alpha-fetoprotein and liver B-ultrasound every six months is the most effective way to detect liver cancer in the early stage.

5. Be proactive

Exercise to enhance immunity. The occurrence of liver cancer is also related to the body's immunity. Under normal circumstances, cells in the human body may form cancer cells, but the human immune system has the ability to eliminate these cells and prevent cancer from occurring. When the body's immunity is weakened, it is easy to develop cancer. Hepatitis B patients should have good living habits and maintain an optimistic mood, which can enhance physical fitness, improve the body's immunity, and prevent the occurrence of cirrhosis and liver cancer.

6. Stay away from carcinogens and eat more anti-cancer foods

Do not eat moldy or mushy food, as the substances such as aflatoxin contained in such food are carcinogens. Eating moldy food frequently can easily cause liver cancer. Eat more foods that prevent cancer on a daily basis. Food plays an important role in preventing cancer, but researchers suggest that vegetables and fruits can effectively reduce the risk of many cancers, especially colon cancer. The specific dietary guidelines are: eat no more than 4 ounces of red meat per day on average, avoid eating processed meats such as sausages and smoked sausages, eat a variety of non-starchy vegetables and fruits every day, and eat at least 5 times a day. Try to reduce the consumption of sugary drinks, fruit juices, desserts and candies, and eat less refined bread, bagels (steamed and then baked doughnuts) and potato chips.
