The reason why blood is thick is so harmful

Blood viscosity is a common disease, which usually occurs in middle-aged and elderly people over 40 years old. There are many reasons for this disease, among which improper diet, lack of exercise, excessive stress, excessive drinking and smoking are the most common.

1. Food: Foods rich in fat such as meat and oil, as well as foods containing a lot of sugar such as biscuits, cakes, and juice will increase the neutral fat in the body. The sugar that is not consumed during the body's metabolism will not only accumulate in the liver and turn into neutral fat, but will also increase the neutral fat in the blood, making the blood viscous. Similarly, eating too much can also cause blood viscosity.

2. Lack of exercise: Lack of exercise leads to insufficient burning of fat and sugar in the body, which eventually accumulates as fat in the body. In addition, lack of exercise leads to a decline in metabolic function, and the waste remaining in the body cannot be excreted in time, which can also cause the blood to become viscous.

3. Stress: Being under high stress for a long time will not only increase blood pressure, but also increase cholesterol and blood sugar levels, which will lead to poor blood circulation and eventually make the blood viscous.

4. Drinking and smoking: Excessive drinking and smoking not only produce active oxygen that causes the body to "rust" (directly or indirectly damages cells in the body and is a cause of aging), but also increase cholesterol and neutral fat, causing blood viscosity. In addition to the effects of drinking and smoking, active oxygen is also affected by ultraviolet rays, stress, and environmental hormones (chemical substances that exist in the soil, atmosphere, and other environments and can cause hormone imbalances when they enter the body). If active oxygen accumulates too much in the body, it will make the blood acidic and accelerate aging.

5. Insufficient water: Excessive sweating leads to insufficient water in the body, and the water in the blood will also become insufficient. When the weather is hot, or when you have a cold or fever, it is easy to cause dehydration, and in these cases the blood tends to become viscous.
