What are the clinical symptoms of lung cancer? 3 things to know about the clinical symptoms of lung cancer

Many diseases have their own unique symptoms, which are also called clinical symptoms in medicine. In fact, when treating many patients, they do not necessarily have lung cancer at the beginning, but with unreasonable postoperative care and other conditions, they lead to lung cancer. So what are the clinical symptoms of lung cancer patients?

1. First of all, the clinical symptoms of lung cancer will show serious functional disorders, and will also be accompanied by some pathological characteristics. The most common symptom of advanced lung cancer is hoarseness. The recurrent laryngeal nerve that controls the left side of the vocal function descends from the neck to the chest, bypasses the large blood vessels of the heart and returns upward to the larynx, thus controlling the left side of the vocal organ; on the right side of the mediastinum is the superior vena cava, which transports venous blood from the upper limbs and head and neck back to the heart.

2. Second, if the above symptoms occur, the tumor invades the right side of the mediastinum and compresses the superior vena cava. Initially, the jugular vein will be distended due to poor reflux, and eventually it will cause edema of the face and neck. This needs to be diagnosed and treated in time. Invasion of the pleura can cause pleural effusion, which is often bloody. Large amounts of effusion can cause shortness of breath. In addition, invasion of the pleura and chest wall by the tumor can cause persistent and severe chest pain.

3. What are the clinical symptoms of lung cancer? Chinese medicine experts say that with the functional disorder of the lungs, local edema and neuralgic pain will also occur. The upper lobe of the lung can invade and compress the organs and tissues located at the upper opening of the thorax, such as the first rib, subclavian artery and vein, brachial plexus, cervical sympathetic nerves, etc., causing severe chest pain, upper limb venous distension, edema, arm pain and upper limb movement disorders, ptosis of the upper eyelid on the same side, pupil constriction, enophthalmos, facial anhidrosis and other cervical sympathetic nerve syndromes. After lung cancer metastasizes through the blood, different symptoms will occur according to the invaded organs.
