Lung cancer is the most common cancer in our lives, and it is very harmful to us. Once discovered, it must be treated in time. So what are the diagnostic methods for lung cancer? I think most people don’t know, so next I will talk to you about the clinical examination of lung cancer, and I hope you can treat it with caution.

The correct diagnosis method for lung cancer is the commonly used clinical methods. Generally, for a lung cancer patient, the following methods can be used to effectively detect it.

1. Blood biochemical examination

For primary lung cancer, blood biochemical tests are the best method of examination, because elevated blood alkaline phosphatase or blood calcium in lung cancer patients may lead to bone metastasis, and elevated blood alkaline phosphatase, aspartate aminotransferase, lactate deaminase or hemoglobin indicate liver metastasis.

2. Tumor marker examination

CEA: 30% to 70% of lung cancer patients have abnormalities in their serum, all of whom are advanced lung cancer patients. Currently, the examination of CEA in serum is mainly used to detect the prognosis of lung cancer and monitor the treatment process.

NSE: It is the preferred marker for small cell lung cancer. It is mainly used for the diagnosis of small cell lung cancer and detection of treatment response. The reference index varies depending on the examination method and the reagents used.

CYFRA21-1: It is the preferred marker for non-small cell lung cancer and has a very high diagnostic sensitivity for lung cancer, which can be as high as 60%.

3. Imaging examination

Chest X-ray examination mainly includes chest frontal and lateral views. In many primary hospitals, chest frontal and lateral views are still used for diagnosis. Therefore, it can be used to determine whether it is lung cancer.
