Pathological staging of bladder cancer

Pathological staging of bladder cancer

Bladder cancer is one of the more serious cancers today, and it ranks first in the incidence of cancers in the whole body. Because patients with bladder cancer will have many uncomfortable symptoms, bladder cancer is a serious disease. Therefore, patients with bladder cancer should actively cooperate with doctors for treatment, control the disease, and detect and treat it early.

1. Bladder cancer refers to a tumor that grows on the mucous membrane of a person. Because the tumor is malignant, it is called bladder cancer. After people have bladder cancer, many uncomfortable symptoms will occur in the urinary system, such as hematuria. According to the development of symptoms, it can develop from a small amount of hematuria to a large amount of hematuria. Some patients will also have symptoms of frequent urination and urgency because the spread of the tumor stimulates other organs. Therefore, after suffering from bladder cancer, timely treatment is required.

2. According to the development of bladder cancer or the degree of pathology, it can be divided into several pathological stages. Stage 0a refers to the symptoms of diseased cells just growing from the edge of the bladder, but it is only in the early stage of development, and the shape is similar to a small mushroom. Stage 0b refers to the discovery of a tumor that has just appeared on the edge of the internal tissue of the bladder. Stage I, the cells spread to the layer below the internal edge of the bladder. Stage II, bladder cancer cells have spread to the wall of the bladder muscle. Stage III, cancer cells have spread to the fat-filled layer of tissue outside the bladder, which may have spread to the genitals. Stage IV, cancer cells have spread from the bladder to the peritoneum or pelvic cavity, or cancer cells may have affected the lymph nodes or other organs in the body. The recurrence stage is the phenomenon of recurrence after treatment of bladder cancer. This is the pathological staging of bladder cancer.

After suffering from bladder cancer, timely treatment is necessary. Because no matter what kind of cancer it is, the most important thing is to detect it early and treat it early. Only by effective treatment at the first time of discovery can the disease be controlled. If the disease is well controlled, the cancer cells will not spread so quickly, and the patient's chance of survival will be higher, or the survival time will be longer.
