How long can you live with lymphoma? Is it curable?

Malignant lymphoma is a very heterogeneous tumor. Although it is common in lymph nodes, due to the distribution of the lymphatic system, lymphoma is a systemic disease that can invade almost any tissue and organ in the body. The clinical manifestations of malignant lymphoma not only have certain common characteristics, but also vary greatly depending on the different pathological types, sites of invasion and extent.

Lymphoma has a variety of clinical manifestations. Although there can be chronic, progressive and painless lymphadenopathy, it can also manifest as other systemic involvement or systemic symptoms. Clinically, when you suspect lymphoma, you can do a pathological biopsy of the lymph nodes or other involved tissues or organs for diagnosis. Cancer, especially advanced cancer, is more difficult to cure. In general, the length of life is also judged by the disease. Although cancer is a difficult disease to treat, it is still curable. Patients and friends must not lose confidence in its treatment.

There are several main treatments for lymphoma, but specific patients should also be analyzed based on their actual conditions.

1. Radiation therapy

Some types of lymphoma can be treated simply with radiation therapy in the early stages. Radiation therapy can also be used as consolidation therapy after chemotherapy and as adjuvant therapy during transplantation.

2. Chemotherapy

Lymphoma chemotherapy mainly uses combination chemotherapy, which can be combined with targeted therapy drugs and biological agents. In recent years, chemotherapy regimens for lymphoma have been greatly improved, and the survival of many types of lymphoma has been greatly improved.
