What are the main symptoms of liver cancer?

Liver cancer is a common malignant tumor of the digestive system. Patients with early liver cancer generally have no typical clinical symptoms. As the disease progresses, liver cancer reaches the middle and late stages. Common symptoms include pain in the liver area, which is generally dull pain. As the disease progresses, patients will also experience abdominal distension, decreased appetite, general fatigue, weight loss, fever and other symptoms. As the disease worsens, the pain in the liver area changes from dull pain in the early stage to severe and continuous pain in the later stage. Moreover, this pain is generally much more obvious at night than during the day. This pain is mostly caused by the increase in capsule tension due to the enlargement of the liver tumor.

Jaundice, patients may experience yellowing of the skin and eyes, which is often caused by the tumor compressing the bile duct. Liver cancer symptoms are not specific, and some patients may not even have any symptoms in the early stages.

If it is liver cancer, can it be cured?

If liver cancer has ascites, it means that the liver cancer is already serious and may have reached the late stage. During this period, we can only alleviate the symptoms as much as possible, but cannot solve the fundamental problem, so it is impossible to cure it in one month. Liver mass is not necessarily liver cancer. It is recommended to see a general surgeon for further examination to clarify the cause. Many liver cancers are caused by cancers of other organs metastasized to the liver.

Is saliva contagious in late-stage liver cancer?

If liver cancer is not caused by viral hepatitis, saliva will not be transmitted, but it is best to disinfect the places contaminated by saliva. If liver cancer is caused by viral infection, it may be transmitted through saliva in the late stage. This type of liver cancer is somewhat contagious, but the contagiousness is not very strong. Liver cancer will not be transmitted through saliva or body fluids, but liver cancer can be inherited, but it also depends on what caused it.
