What to do if corn patch hurts

What to do if corn patch hurts

When people get corns, they think that it is not a life-threatening disease and choose not to go to the hospital for treatment. This is because most people think that such a minor illness does not require a large number of people and a waste of money to go to the hospital. Therefore, many people choose to buy corn patches and treat them themselves. However, some people will find that after applying the corn patches, the corns that were not very painful originally start to become more painful. Let’s take a look at what to do if the corn patches hurt?

Corns are cone-shaped thickening of the stratum corneum caused by long-term friction or pressure, with the tip of the keratin central core penetrating deep into the skin and the base exposed on the outside. It usually occurs in young people, and is prone to occur on the soles and toes. If the tip of the corn compresses the nerve endings, it will cause pain when walking. Corns vary in size, ranging from as small as rice grains to as large as beans. They have a smooth surface with obvious protrusions and clear boundaries. Most warts are light yellow or dark yellow, with an inverted cone-shaped keratin plug in the center embedded in the dermis. The surface is rough, with obvious keratinization, hard texture, gray-yellow or dirty brown, single or multiple, generally without subjective symptoms, and prone to occur on the fingers, back of the hands, edges of the feet, etc.

treat:

Soak the affected area in warm water for 30 minutes, use a blade to remove the surface cuticle, scrape while soaking, to an appropriate depth, and avoid bleeding. Disinfect with alcohol, drop some medicated oil into the corn plaster and mix well, 3 or 4 drops will do, then apply the corn plaster to the affected area. Generally, the dressing should be changed after 3 days. A dot will appear in the middle with many black whiskers. Repeat the previous steps to remove the white skin (in case of bleeding, wait until the wound heals) and then apply the corn plaster to the affected area. There will be some pain during the application of the medicine. Apply it 1 or 2 more times until the black beard disappears. After removing the white skin, disinfect it with alcohol and put on a Band-Aid. Change it every 2 or 3 days and you can stop using it when it doesn’t hurt anymore. There are various methods on the Internet, but I haven’t tried them, so be careful!

prevention:

Wear suitable and soft boots or use a small sponge pad with holes to protect the area from pressure.

Try to use eye cream as little as possible. Corns are a very common foot skin disease in our daily life, so we must pay attention to some details and take good care of the prevention and treatment of corns.

1. Soak the hard corns in water until they soften, about 15 minutes, then apply Eushubizhi Clear Cream to remove the corns.

2. Corn pads can protect corns from more pressure and friction, but they are corrosive.

3. Give the corns space to move and put some cotton or wool between the toes.

4. Do not use any corn ointment.

5. Wear shoes that fit well and allow your toes to move freely.

6. Throw away your high heels.

7. Buy shoes at night because feet are usually the largest at night.

8. Try on shoes while standing, and use larger feet to try them on.

9. The shoes are too old and the seams are broken, which may rub your feet. Pay attention to the seams of the socks as well.

10. Do not peel it with your hands or scrape it with a scraper.
