How many times of chemotherapy is usually given for cervical cancer

Cervical cancer can be treated with chemotherapy for up to five times. It occurs in women and is also a common malignant tumor. For this disease, surgical resection is the best choice for treatment. If it is in the early stage, surgery is sometimes not necessary, and chemotherapy or radiotherapy can also be chosen. If the patient has serious side effects during chemotherapy, such as bone marrow suppression, the patient exhibits leukemia-like symptoms, pancytopenia, extremely low immunity, severe anemia, and coagulation disorders, chemotherapy should be stopped. Chemotherapy for cervical cancer is divided into synchronous chemotherapy and adjuvant chemotherapy.
