Why do you pee so much

Why do you pee so much

As the saying goes, if you want to be beautiful, drink 8 glasses of water a day. Drinking water is not a problem, but excretion is a problem. Because everyone's excretion function is different, the degree of absorption of the water they drink is different, which will also affect the frequency of excretion. If you observe carefully, you will find that some people around you always need to go to the bathroom and they defecate very frequently. Why do some people excrete so many times even though they drink the same amount of water?

Frequent urination is a symptom, not a disease. Traditional Chinese medicine lists frequent urination as one of the symptoms of "kidney deficiency". A normal adult urinates 4 to 6 times during the day and 0 to 2 times at night. A significant increase in the frequency is called polyuria. An increased frequency of urination can be caused by a variety of reasons, but without pain, which is also called frequent urination.

There are many reasons for frequent urination, including neuropsychiatric factors, physical weakness after illness, parasitic diseases, etc. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that most urination is caused by children's weak constitution, weak kidney qi, inability to restrain bladder, and failure to transform. In addition, due to excessive fatigue, the spleen and lungs are both weak, the upper part is weak and cannot control the lower part, the earth is weak and cannot control the water, and the bladder is weak, resulting in frequent urination. Therefore, frequent urination is a symptom of deficiency, which requires conditioning. Eat more foods rich in plant organic active alkali, eat less meat, and eat more vegetables.

Causes

1. Increased urine volume: When urine volume increases, the frequency of urination will also increase accordingly. Under physiological conditions, such as drinking a lot of water, eating watermelon, and drinking beer, due to the increase in water intake, through the regulation and filtration of the kidneys, the urine volume increases, the frequency of urination also increases, and frequent urination occurs. Under pathological conditions, such as some patients with diabetes and diabetes insipidus who drink a lot of water, have a lot of urine, and urinate a lot, but they do not feel uncomfortable urinating.

2. Inflammation stimulation: When there is inflammation in the bladder, the urinary center is in an excited state, resulting in frequent urination and reduced urine volume. Therefore, frequent urination is an important symptom of cystitis, especially acute cystitis and tuberculous cystitis. Other conditions such as prostatitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, chronic balanoposthitis in children, and vulvitis can also cause frequent urination. Under the stimulation of inflammation, frequent urination, urgency, and pain often occur at the same time, which is called urinary tract irritation, commonly known as "three urine syndromes".

3. Non-inflammatory stimulation: such as urinary tract stones and foreign bodies, usually with frequent urination as the main manifestation.

4. Reduced bladder capacity: such as bladder space-occupying lesions, compression of the enlarged uterus during pregnancy, tuberculous bladder contracture or large bladder stones, etc.

5. Psychoneural urinary frequency: Frequent urination only occurs during the day or before falling asleep at night. It is often caused by mental tension or seen in patients with hysteria. It may also be accompanied by urinary urgency and pain.
