Intracavitary treatment refers to placing radioactive particles directly at the cervical lesion through the vagina to irradiate the tumor cells and cause cell death. External irradiation is aimed at the metastatic site, using an irradiator to irradiate the metastatic part of the tumor and lymph nodes, limiting the lesions, killing cancer cells, and obtaining a good prognosis. The first step in radiotherapy for cervical cancer is to take the patient to radiotherapy positioning. What are the main risk factors for cervical cancer? The high-risk factors for cervical cancer mainly include behavioral risk factors, including multiple sexual partners and sexual promiscuity, which can easily lead to high-risk patients with HPV infection, which will increase the incidence of cervical cancer. Cervical cancer can cause contact bleeding, irregular vaginal bleeding in the middle and late stages, and abnormal vaginal discharge and leucorrhea. The diagnosis of cervical cancer is mainly through cervical smear cytology examination. After diagnosis, it is mainly surgery and radiotherapy, supplemented by chemotherapy. The main risk factor for cervical cancer is HPV. At present, there are more than 30 types of HPV viruses, and more than 10 high-risk carcinogens, including HPV16, 18, 3333, etc., which are all high-risk carcinogenic virus types. Drugs for cervical cancer The main symptom of cervical cancer is contact vaginal bleeding, which is more common in middle-aged and elderly women. HPV is related to infection. Cervical cancer is mainly diagnosed based on cervical biopsy pathology. If the relevant examination does not metastasize, radical surgery can be performed for cervical cancer. After surgery, it is necessary to combine pathology with corresponding chemotherapy. If there is lymph node metastasis, radiotherapy needs to be added. If the cervix invades the vagina and metastasizes, surgery is not possible, and only radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be used. For women with early cervical cancer, the main treatment method is surgery, and chemotherapy drugs may be needed after surgery to consolidate treatment. There is currently no special drug for the treatment of cervical cancer. |
