What causes lymphoma? What are the characteristics of malignant lymphoma in my country?

What causes lymphoma? Because lymphoma is a malignant tumor of the immune system, low immunity is one of the main causes of lymphoma. Under normal circumstances, the human immune system has an immune surveillance function and can clear mutated or cancerous cells in the body. Immunodeficient patients are prone to opportunistic infections, especially viral infections.

Low immune function, such as AIDS, organ transplantation, rheumatoid arthritis, etc., can also induce lymphoma. Virus invasion is also the main cause of lymphoma. Viruses are an important direction in the study of tumor etiology.

Based on current research, the viruses that are more closely related to lymphoma include Epstein-Barr virus, human T-lymphotropic virus, and human B-lymphotropic virus.

Malignant lymphoma has some characteristics in our country, as shown below:

① The central coastal areas with higher morbidity and mortality rates;

② The peak of the age curve of onset is around 40 years old. It does not have the double peak curve of European and American countries, but is similar to Japan with a single peak;

③The proportion of Hodgkin's disease is lower than that in European and American countries, but it tends to increase;

④ In non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, the proportion of follicular type is very low, and the diffuse type accounts for the vast majority;

⑤ Data from the past decade show that T-cell lymphoma accounts for 34% in my country, which is similar to Japan and far more than in European and American countries.

The mortality rate of lymphoma is very high. To achieve early prevention and early treatment of lymphoma, we need to be alert to the early symptoms of lymphoma and do a good job of early prevention and treatment. The cause of lymphoma may be related to environmental pollution, fast pace of life and other factors. Long-term use of computers and mobile phones, frequent exposure to electronic radiation or radiation, high work pressure, long-term excessive fatigue, and decreased immune function of the body may induce lymphoma.
